Portrait of Lauren Boyle
- the process
The portrait of Olympic swimmer, Lauren Boyle was one of the most challenging Ingrid has done to date. Lauren Boyle is a superstar of New Zealand swimming and is a positive ambassador for the sport and has been an inspiration for Ingrid's daughter, Mia. Swimmers are often seen either in the pool in their togs, or on the podium in a tracksuit and rarely all dressed up so what better way to represent Lauren by painting her looking gorgeous and glamorous in her natural environment.
This video shows the process behind the painting. Click here to see the painting.
